Meet your leader in Melbourne, known as Narrm in the language of the Wurundjeri people, at 9 am and head straight out of the city. Drive along the Bunurong coast toward Wilsons Promontory, one of Victoria's great coastal national parks. Once inside the park, walk through temperate rainforest on the Lilly Pilly Gully track and keep an eye out for emus, wombats and kangaroos. Later, visit Squeaky Beach, where rounded quartz sand makes a crisp sound underfoot, and take in the granite boulders framing the shoreline before continuing to Foster for the night.
