Cyprus allows U.S., Canadian, Australian, and U.K. citizens to enter visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or business.
Although Cyprus is an EU member, it’s not yet part of the Schengen Area, so entry rules are slightly different.
Starting in 2025, travelers from visa-exempt countries will need to apply for an ETIAS authorization before entering the EU.
To enter Cyprus, you’ll need:
• A valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your stay
• Proof of onward or return travel
• Proof of sufficient funds
