Greece is part of the Schengen Area, which allows travelers to move freely between most European countries.
U.S., Canadian, Australian, and U.K. citizens can enter Greece visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or business.
Starting in mid-2025, travelers from visa-exempt countries will need to apply for an ETIAS travel authorization before entering Europe.
To visit Greece, you’ll need:
• A valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond your stay
• Proof of onward or return travel
