- Kaza Univisa: For those who plan on visiting both Zambia and Zimbabwe, possibly for the Victoria Falls, the Kaza Univisa Visa Costs USD $50 and offers multiple entries within the borders of both countries for a period of up to 30 days.
- Passport Validity: It should be valid for a minimum of six months beyond entry and need to have two blank pages.

- Critical Coverage: Your plan must cover Emergency Medical Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue from remote parks) and high-limit Medical Coverage.
- Activity Coverage: Ensure coverage includes all intended activities, such as walking safaris, white-water rafting, and microlight flights over Victoria Falls.
- Our Requirement: Proof of valid insurance to cover the above points is necessary to join our tours.

Zambia is one of the most peaceful and hospitable countries on the continent. The level of crime is low, but common-sense guidelines must be heeded.

- Always follow your professional guide's instructions during all activities involving wildlife. Never stand up in vehicles or get out to walk near the animals.

- Yellow Fever: You will need a Yellow Fever vaccination document if you are traveling to Zambia from a Yellow Fever-risk country. This is usually recommended for all travelers to Zambia.

- Crowds: South Luangprabang and Lower Zambezi are relatively less crowded as opposed to other popular reserves in East Africa.

- Season: The dry season (May to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing. The “emerald season" (November to April) is lush and good for birdwatching and waterfalls, though fewer tourists mean fewer guides, and some roads are impassable.
