If you have any dietary preferences or restrictions, please let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.
Arriving early in Split? We recommend staying a night or two before departure, as the group sets sail shortly after meeting. If you prefer to meet directly at the marina, you can join at Trogir Marina at 3 pm — just a 15-minute drive from the airport. Be sure to notify your booking agent in advance. Look for your yacht marked with the EurotourClub flag, docked near the marina’s fuel station.
Sailing is all about flexibility — while we have a planned route, each day may shift depending on weather and group preferences. Your skipper will always make decisions with safety and the best experience in mind. Today’s sailing time is approximately 1.5 hours.

Once you arrive, you can join an optional tour to uncover the island’s layered history, shaped by Greek, Roman, Venetian, and other empires. Known in ancient legend as the place where Odysseus was shipwrecked and stayed for seven years, Mljet is now famous for its lush national park, dense forests, and quiet villages. Greek sailors once sheltered here from storms, and over time the island was inhabited by Illyrians, Romans, Slavs, and Avars. In the 13th century, it was handed over to the Benedictine order, who built a monastery on Veliko Jezero, one of the western lakes.
Once you arrive, you might want to rent a bike and explore the national park. In the evening, consider trying local wine—viticulture and olive oil production have been central to island life here for centuries.

Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
  • Our yachts are equipped with a small Zodiac boat, used when needed to ferry guests to shore if we anchor in a bay. That said, we usually spend the night in marinas on each island, so the Zodiac is rarely required. Getting in and out can sometimes feel a bit tricky, but a relaxed attitude and a good sense of humor are all you really need.
  • This is a true yacht adventure, which means shared cabins, bathrooms, and shower facilities with fellow travelers. Sleeping spaces are compact, but you’ll likely spend most of your time out on deck, enjoying the open air and sea views.
  • Your skipper will navigate using both sails and motor, depending on conditions. At times, the motor may be needed for the entire journey, as weather always plays a role in sailing plans. Any changes to the itinerary will be clearly communicated. Above all, your skipper is passionate about sailing and will raise the sails whenever the wind allows.
Visa information
Visa details are provided through Sherpa, a third-party service. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements, not full entry visas. Additional service fees apply if you purchase a visa via Sherpa.
Accommodation
8-night sailing trip – overnight on board
Most of our sailing trips begin and/or end at a marina or port. In many destinations, we can arrange transfers between the airport or hotel and the port—please check your trip notes for exact details.
Electricity on board:
Power is available throughout the trip, but it can vary between 12V and 220V, especially when anchored or in port. Availability depends on local supply, and it may not always be strong enough for all electronic devices. You may need a voltage adapter or portable inverter. In some locations, charging may be possible ashore, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Wi-Fi:
There is no Wi-Fi on the yacht. However, you’ll regularly visit coastal towns and islands, where you can easily connect and stay in touch.
Accommodation on board:
You’ll be staying on a 54ft monohull yacht, with shared cabins and facilities. Cabin options include:
  • 1 triple bunk cabin
  • 2 twin bunk cabins
  • 2 double/twin cabins (configured as either double or twin beds)
Couples can book a double/twin cabin and request a double setup. Solo travelers can choose a triple or twin cabin and will share with a same-gender passenger. A single supplement is available for those who prefer private use of a twin cabin. Bathrooms are shared by all guests, including the skipper, with 5 bathrooms onboard.
Yachts are designed to maximize communal space while keeping sleeping areas compact. While the living conditions are close quarters, this is part of an authentic sailing experience—one that most travelers find is more than compensated by the adventure, freedom, and time spent out on the open sea.

Important notes

Start time:
This trip begins on Day 1 in Split at 2:00 PM.
Accommodation on board the sailing yacht:
Your journey takes place entirely on a 54ft monohull yacht. Cabin options include:
  • 1 triple bunk cabin
  • 2 twin bunk cabins
  • 2 double/twin cabins (can be set up as either two singles or one double bed)
Couples booking a double bed should reserve a double/twin cabin and request a double setup at the time of booking. Solo travelers can choose a twin or triple cabin and will share with another same-gender passenger. A single supplement is available for those who prefer private use of a twin cabin. Bathrooms are shared by all guests, including the skipper.
There are 5 shared bathrooms on board. This is a real sailing yacht, designed with compact sleeping areas and spacious communal decks. While the living space is close quarters, most travelers find the open-air lifestyle and shared adventure more than makes up for it.
Hot weather:
Summer temperatures can reach up to 40°C (104°F), which may feel intense for those not used to high heat. Please consider the season when choosing your travel dates.
Passport details:
Full passport information is required at the time of booking, including your exact name as shown on your passport, date of birth, nationality, and passport issue and expiry dates. This is necessary for arranging services on the trip.
Trip kitty:
A mandatory kitty of €100 per person is collected locally. This shared fund is managed by the group and covers breakfast and lunch on board, as well as essentials like ice, water, snacks, and drinks. Guests take turns preparing meals and shopping at nearby ports, where supermarkets are usually within easy reach.
The skipper will explain how the kitty is managed during the welcome meeting. It is collected at the start of the trip or in stages throughout the journey and may be adjusted if local prices change.
