Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
  • This journey includes time at high altitude, so it's important to review the Medical & Health Information before travelling and allow yourself time to acclimatise.
  • The itinerary features a few long travel days, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Andes, salt flats and desert landscapes.
  • While exploring the Uyuni Salt Flats and surrounding deserts, you'll travel extensively by 4WD. Roads can be rough and vehicles are usually fully occupied, but this is the best way to reach some of Bolivia's most remote and breathtaking destinations.
  • Travel in Bolivia, particularly around Uyuni, can occasionally be unpredictable. Attractions may close without prior notice due to local conditions, so a flexible attitude will help you make the most of the experience.
  • Conditions across the Andean Desert and salt flats are simple rather than luxurious. Temperatures can drop significantly, especially after sunset, so be sure to pack warm clothing. The remote landscapes and unforgettable scenery more than reward the adventurous spirit.
