Start the day back in the village of Guraidhoo Island with a hands-on introduction to Maldivian cuisine. During a cooking demonstration, you'll learn how to prepare traditional favourites such as mas huni — a popular breakfast dish made with tuna, coconut, onion and chilli — along with fragrant Maldivian tuna curry.
Afterwards, sit down to enjoy these freshly prepared dishes for breakfast, traditionally served with warm roshi flatbread and sweet tea. Then, make the most of your final morning on the water with another snorkelling excursion among colourful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish.
Later, sail back to the bustling capital of Male. Compact in size at just 2.5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide, the city is ideal for exploring on foot. Discover some of the city's highlights, including the mosque, presidential palace and local bazaar, before wandering through the lively fish market and fruit and vegetable market.
Along the way, perhaps sample some local delicacies such as dried fish, huvadhoo bondi sweets and a variety of exotic tropical fruits. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers to celebrate an unforgettable sailing adventure through the Maldives.
