This morning, check in with your legs and choose your pace. The main included option is a guided hike to Amin Brakk base camp, at 4590 m / 15,058 ft, beneath one of Pakistan's most striking granite faces. The route begins with a steep climb, then moves across a flatter plateau before a final rocky push. Depending on conditions, you may cross a stream or take an alternate route over stones and boulders. At base camp, take time to explore, breathe, eat something, then return to the Nangma campsite. If you prefer a lighter day, stay closer to camp, scramble on nearby rocks or look for local Karakoram bird and flower species. Either way, try not to sleep through sunrise.
