Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
  • The climb to Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is one of Sri Lanka's most rewarding experiences, but it does involve steep stairways, narrow passages and uneven surfaces. Travellers who are uncomfortable with heights may prefer to enjoy the impressive views of the fortress from below.
  • This journey includes several longer travel days, with some transfers taking up to five hours. These drives offer an excellent opportunity to admire Sri Lanka's diverse landscapes and gain a deeper appreciation of local life along the way.
  • Some temples and religious sites visited during the trip require visitors to remove hats and keep their heads uncovered as a sign of respect. Participation in these visits is optional for those who prefer not to follow this custom.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.

These operators are not affiliated with the tour company, and the safety and quality of their services cannot be guaranteed. We recommend booking activities only through authorised providers.
  2. A complimentary airport arrival transfer is included for travellers arriving on Day 1 or for those who have booked pre-tour accommodation through us. To arrange this service, please provide your flight details to your booking agent at least 14 days prior to departure.
  3. A single supplement is available for travellers who would prefer private accommodation throughout the journey. The supplement applies to all nights included in the itinerary and is subject to availability.
  4. Please provide your full name and passport details exactly as they appear in your passport, including any middle names, at the time of booking. This information is required to secure train reservations in Sri Lanka.
