Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
This itinerary is designed for travellers who want to experience the highlights of North India in a short amount of time. As our shortest journey in this travel style, it offers an ideal introduction to India’s iconic sights without requiring an extended holiday. Those looking for a slower-paced experience may wish to consider one of our longer North India itineraries.

India’s temperatures can be very high during the summer months, particularly in the northern regions. To stay comfortable during sightseeing, we recommend carrying water and bringing sun protection such as a hat, sunscreen and lightweight clothing that covers your skin.
Respect for local customs and traditions is an important part of travelling in India. As this trip includes visits to temples and religious sites, modest clothing that covers the shoulders, arms and knees is required for entry.

Accommodation has been carefully selected to provide comfort and character while reflecting the local style of travel. Please keep in mind that service standards and hotel facilities in India may differ from those commonly found in Western countries, which is all part of the authentic travel experience.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
Accommodation
Hotel (6 nights), Heritage Property (1 night)
The accommodation listed in the itinerary is intended as a guide and may occasionally change due to operational requirements or limited availability. In such cases, a property of a similar standard and character will be arranged.

We work closely with our accommodation partners to prepare rooms as early as possible, particularly if the group arrives before the standard check-in time. However, early access to rooms cannot always be guaranteed. If rooms are not yet available, luggage storage facilities will be provided so you can begin exploring your destination or relax until check-in is available.
Throughout the journey, accommodation styles vary from comfortable hotels to charming heritage properties that reflect the character of the region. Facilities and service standards in India may differ from those found in Western countries, offering a more authentic local travel experience.

Some properties may experience occasional power interruptions due to local electricity supply schedules, although most hotels are equipped to minimise inconvenience for guests. Many hotels and restaurants serve delicious local cuisine, while alcohol may not be available in some locations due to regional customs or regulations.
Hot water availability can vary between properties and may be limited to certain times of the day, particularly during peak morning and evening periods.
If you experience any issues with your room or accommodation during your stay, please inform your hotel reception or tour leader as soon as possible so they can assist you promptly.
