Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
This journey involves travelling by private vehicle through some of Morocco’s most spectacular regions. While there are a few longer travel days and space can occasionally feel limited, the changing landscapes and shared experiences are all part of the adventure. Regular stops at scenic and culturally significant locations help break up the journeys and provide opportunities to explore along the way.

Morocco’s climate can vary dramatically depending on the season, from hot desert temperatures to cooler conditions in the mountains, so it’s worth considering the time of year that best suits your travel style. Local customs, including tipping for services, are an important part of everyday life and your leader will be happy to provide guidance.

You may encounter local vendors in markets and public squares, adding to the lively atmosphere that makes Morocco such a fascinating destination. Accommodation has been carefully selected to reflect the character of the country while providing comfort throughout your journey, though standards and service styles may differ from what you are accustomed to at home.
Travelling during Ramadan can offer a unique cultural insight into Moroccan life. While some restaurants, cafés and services may operate differently during this period, it is also a rewarding time to experience local traditions and celebrations.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
Accommodation
Accommodation on this journey includes four nights in comfortable hotels, two nights in traditional Moroccan riads and one unforgettable night in a Sahara desert camp. Each property has been carefully selected to reflect the character and charm of Morocco while providing a comfortable and authentic travel experience.

Riads, with their beautiful courtyards and traditional architecture, offer a unique glimpse into Moroccan heritage. Due to seasonal demand, similar-quality accommodation may occasionally be used when necessary.
Accommodation is generally on a twin-share basis, with solo travellers paired with another traveller of the same gender. While most rooms offer private facilities, some properties may feature shared amenities in keeping with local styles and traditions.

Travellers should be aware that heating, hot water and air conditioning can vary between properties, particularly in remote areas. Check-in times may also differ, but luggage storage is usually available if rooms are not yet ready. For those booking additional nights before or after the trip, room changes may occasionally be required.
