Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
Please be prepared for a variety of weather conditions during this trip. Scandinavia can experience chilly evenings year-round, especially at the beginning and end of the travel season and throughout winter. Summer weather can also be unpredictable, ranging from cool and rainy days to surprisingly warm temperatures. We recommend packing suitable clothing for changing conditions, including warm layers, a waterproof jacket, comfortable shoes, hats, gloves and scarves if travelling in cooler months.

As parts of this journey include train travel, you will also need to handle your own luggage when boarding and disembarking. For a more comfortable experience, we suggest packing as lightly and practically as possible.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
Accommodation
Hotel (6 nights), Feature Stay (2 nights)
Please note that the accommodation listed in the itinerary is intended as a guide and may occasionally change. If our preferred properties are unavailable, similar accommodations of the same standard will be arranged.

Throughout the journey, we work closely with our hotels to have rooms ready as early as possible, particularly when arriving before standard check-in times. However, early check-in cannot always be guaranteed. In these cases, luggage storage will be available so you can begin exploring your destination, and on some trips, shared day rooms may also be provided until rooms are ready.
Flights
Please note: flight arrangements

We can assist with booking flights from any airport in the United States that is convenient for you. Occasionally, alternative routing or airlines may need to be arranged due to availability, but we will always ensure your flights align with your tour dates and provide the same level of comfort and reliability. Our goal is to make your journey to Italy smooth, stress-free, and perfectly timed with your tour.
