Arrive at the ancient archaeological site of Teotihuacan and explore its remarkable pyramids and ceremonial avenues. Walk along the famous Calzada de los Muertos (Avenue of the Dead), visit the impressive Moon Pyramid and admire the towering 63-metre-high Sun Pyramid – the largest and most iconic structure in the complex.
Later, continue to a nearby village and visit a family-run workshop where you’ll learn about obsidian, the volcanic stone once used by the Teotihuacan civilisation to create tools, ornaments and sacred objects. Then, enjoy a special home-cooked lunch with a local family, featuring authentic Mexican dishes full of traditional flavours and warm hospitality. After lunch, return to Mexico City for the evening.
