Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
On this Independent Short Break, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of freedom and convenience. With all the key arrangements taken care of for you, you’ll still have plenty of independence and free time to explore at your own pace. As this is not a fully guided group tour, there will be no dedicated Trip Leader travelling with you throughout the trip. Instead, all included activities, tours and transfers will be operated by trusted local partners, and each experience may run independently from the others.

Included tours and transfers operate on a join-in basis, meaning you may travel privately or share certain experiences with other travellers along the way. If you’d prefer a fully guided group adventure with a dedicated Trip Leader throughout the journey, your booking agent will be happy to recommend alternative options.
Please note that on Day 3, you’ll need to check out of your hotel before the day’s activities begin. Your luggage can be securely stored in the hotel’s luggage room until your return later in the day.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
Accommodation
Hotel (2 nights)

The accommodation listed in the itinerary is intended as a guide and may occasionally change. If our preferred hotels are unavailable, similar accommodation of the same standard will be arranged instead.
Throughout the trip, we do our best to ensure rooms are prepared prior to your arrival, especially if you arrive before standard check-in hours. However, immediate check-in cannot always be guaranteed. In these situations, luggage storage will usually be available so you can start exploring your destination, and on some trips, shared day rooms may also be provided until all rooms are ready.
Flights
Please note: flight arrangements

We can assist with booking flights from any airport in the United States that is convenient for you. Occasionally, alternative routing or airlines may need to be arranged due to availability, but we will always ensure your flights align with your tour dates and provide the same level of comfort and reliability. Our goal is to make your journey to Italy smooth, stress-free, and perfectly timed with your tour.
