After settling in, meet your local guide for a short briefing about the days ahead. - Rise early this morning and board the train to Devil’s Throat Station for an unforgettable guided exploration of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Made up of 275 individual waterfalls, the majority of the cascades are found on the Argentine side, offering countless spectacular viewpoints.
Follow jungle boardwalk trails with your local guide as you experience the falls from every angle. Hear the roar of the crashing water, feel the cool mist rising around you and take in the immense power of this natural wonder up close.

Important notes
- Due to border crossing procedures and updated national park requirements in both Argentina and Brazil, passport details must be provided at the time of booking or at least 30 days before departure.
- This Independent Short Break operates as a join-in experience, meaning you will not travel with a dedicated Intrepid Trip Leader. Instead, local representatives will guide activities and transfers, and fellow travellers may change throughout the trip.
- Departures are guaranteed from just one traveller. During activities around Iguazu Falls, you may be joined by other Intrepid travellers as well as guests booked through local partner operators.
- Tour information and guiding may be provided in English only or in both English and Spanish, depending on the makeup of the group.
- Maximum group sizes apply only to the shared join-in activities and excursions included in the itinerary.
- Your trip concludes in the late afternoon upon return to Foz do Iguaçu or at the airport. It’s recommended to book at least one additional night of accommodation after the tour, and flights should not be scheduled before 7 pm.
- Complimentary airport arrival and departure transfers are included for travellers arriving on Day 1 and departing on Day 3, or for those who have booked additional accommodation through the tour provider. Flight details must be submitted to your booking agent at least 14 days before travel.
- Travellers are strongly advised to bring US Dollars for use in Argentina. While ATMs are available, withdrawal limits may apply and exchange rates can fluctuate frequently.
