Is this trip right for you?
- The Ocean Victory is a modern expedition ship designed for comfortable travel through coastal and open-sea conditions. While the ship is stable and well-equipped, occasional rough seas may occur, and some travellers can experience seasickness. Medical assistance is available onboard if needed.
- Weather conditions in Ireland can change quickly, so layered clothing is highly recommended. Temperatures may feel cool, especially on the water, but sunny days can also be pleasantly warm. Waterproof boots are provided during the expedition, along with a waterproof jacket that you can keep after the trip.
- Throughout the journey, you may explore remote coastal areas and wildlife spots by Zodiac boat. Conditions can sometimes be windy or wet, so warm, waterproof clothing and protection for cameras or electronics are essential. A moderate level of mobility is required for getting in and out of the boats and walking on uneven terrain.
- As with all expedition-style adventures, the itinerary may change depending on weather and sea conditions. Flexibility is part of the experience, and unexpected moments often become the highlights of the trip. If conditions require additional time onboard, guests can enjoy the ship’s comfortable facilities, educational lectures, library, spa and fitness areas while taking in the spectacular Irish scenery.
