Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
1. Be prepared to stay active
Exploring Tunisia’s historic sites involves a fair amount of walking, often with limited shade — we recommend bringing a hat, sun protection and comfortable, sturdy shoes.
2. Travel days are part of the adventure
Some longer drives are necessary to experience the country’s highlights, but regular stops along the way ensure you’ll discover even more destinations and local life.
3. An emerging destination
Beyond the main tourist areas, Tunisia is still developing as a travel destination, offering a more authentic experience compared to more commercialized locations.
4. Accommodation standards
While carefully selected and well-located, accommodation may differ from Western expectations and may not include all familiar amenities — however, comfort and quality are always prioritized.
If you want, I can make it sound more “luxury reassurance” style (a bit softer + more premium tone).
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
