Leave Tunis behind this morning and journey toward Kairouan, with fascinating stops along the way. First, arrive in the charming town of Testour for a guided walk and a visit to its historic Great Mosque — known for its intricate tiled design, peaceful courtyard and unique minaret featuring a counterclockwise clock. Take a moment to relax with a coffee or refreshing mint tea before continuing your journey.

Next, head to Dougga — the most intact Roman city in North Africa. Wander through this vast archaeological site alongside your local guide and uncover its rich history, all without the crowds you’d expect at similar sites in Italy.
