If travelling during Ramadan, expect a unique and enriching cultural experience. Keep in mind that some services — such as restaurants and cafés — may be limited during daylight hours, and occasional disruptions can occur. Your leader will adapt the itinerary where needed, but it’s worth considering when planning your travel dates.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.

This trip includes 11 nights in hotels, selected to offer the best available comfort in each destination.
Please note that accommodation listed in the itinerary is a guideline and may occasionally change due to availability. In such cases, a similar standard will be provided. Early check-in cannot always be guaranteed, but luggage storage or shared day rooms may be available while you wait.

Some stays may be in simple guesthouses or locally run properties. In parts of West Africa, power outages (load shedding) can occur, meaning hot water, air conditioning and Wi-Fi may be limited or unavailable at times.

If you experience any issues with your room, please inform your tour leader or hotel staff immediately so they can assist you as quickly as possible.
