Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
We recommend packing light and practical for this trip, as you’ll need to carry your own luggage at times — including navigating stairs and uneven cobblestone streets.
Summer temperatures in some regions can exceed 40°C (104°F), so be prepared with sun protection, breathable clothing, and plenty of water. Be sure to consider the season you’re travelling in and your comfort with the climate.

You’ll also spend time travelling in a private vehicle with your group. Space can be limited, and conditions may feel a bit snug, but it’s all part of the experience and a great way to connect with fellow travellers. Some travel days are longer, as the itinerary covers a wide area, but regular stops at interesting locations help break up the journey. Please review the itinerary for estimated travel times.
Visa information
Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.
Accommodation
Hotel Accommodation (11 nights)
The accommodation listed in the itinerary serves as a guideline and may occasionally change. If our preferred hotels are unavailable, we will arrange alternatives of a similar standard to ensure your comfort throughout the trip.
We always request early room preparation, especially when arriving before standard check-in time. However, this cannot be guaranteed. If rooms are not ready upon arrival, you can store your luggage and start exploring, or in some cases use shared day rooms until check-in becomes available.
European Hotel Notes
Hotels across Europe often feature twin beds that can be arranged together or separately, rather than one large double bed. Rooms may also be smaller than what travellers from the USA or Australia are used to.
Please note that not all accommodations offer private en suite bathrooms or air-conditioning, and amenities such as kettles or mini-fridges are not always standard in European hotels.
Flights
Please note: flight arrangements

We can assist with booking flights from any airport in the United States that is convenient for you. Occasionally, alternative routing or airlines may need to be arranged due to availability, but we will always ensure your flights align with your tour dates and provide the same level of comfort and reliability. Our goal is to make your journey to Italy smooth, stress-free, and perfectly timed with your tour.
