On three days of the itinerary (Days 2, 3, and 4), you’ll enjoy coastal walks ranging from 5 to 8 km. These hikes are not overly challenging, with gentle terrain and mostly well-defined paths, but a reasonable level of fitness and sturdy, ideally waterproof footwear will help you get the most out of the experience.

Scottish weather is famously unpredictable—often described as four seasons in a single day—especially at the beginning and end of the season. Be sure to pack for all conditions, including base layers, a hat, gloves, a scarf, waterproof clothing, and any additional essentials for changeable weather.

Visa information is provided by Sherpa, a trusted third-party. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements and does not cover full entry visas. U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for stays under 90 days typically do not need a tourist visa. Additional service fees may apply if you choose to purchase a visa through Sherpa. Always check official sources before traveling.

The accommodation listed in the itinerary serves as a guide. In rare cases, we may use alternative properties due to limited availability, always ensuring a similar standard of comfort and quality.
Twin Share Basis
Rooms are typically arranged on a twin or multi-share basis. Solo travellers will be paired with another traveller of the same gender (based on passport details). Please note that some accommodations may have shared facilities instead of private en-suite bathrooms, and occasionally you may share with travellers from other groups.
Check-in Time
We do our best to have rooms ready upon arrival, especially if arriving before standard check-in hours. However, this cannot always be guaranteed. If rooms are not yet available, luggage can be stored while you explore the destination.
Pre/Post Trip Accommodation
If you have booked additional nights before or after the tour (subject to availability), you may need to change rooms for these extra stays.
Facilities
Some accommodations may not offer private en-suite bathrooms or air conditioning. It’s also common for European hotels not to provide kettles or refrigerators in rooms.
