Trip moments from our travelers
Before you book you should know
Is this trip right for you?
  • This trip includes stays in multi-share hostel dorms, so instead of standard twin hotel rooms, you’ll be staying in social, laid-back spaces with shared facilities. Travelers on the same booking may be split into different rooms due to single-gender dorm arrangements. Also, not all hostels provide towels, so it’s a good idea to bring your own travel towel just in case.
  • Scandinavia can be quite expensive — from museum tickets and optional activities to dining out. Your tour leader will always have tips on how to make the most of your budget while still enjoying everything the region has to offer.
  • This journey relies heavily on public transportation. You’ll need to carry your own luggage between train stations, ferry terminals, and accommodations — often over cobblestone streets or up stairs, as elevators aren’t always available. Trains can also get busy, especially in summer, and the group may occasionally be seated in different carriages.
  • Weather in Scandinavia can be unpredictable. Between October and March, it can get quite cold, especially at night, and rain is possible year-round. Summers, on the other hand, can be surprisingly warm, with temperatures reaching up to 30°C. Be sure to pack appropriately for changing conditions.
Visa information
Visa details are provided through Sherpa, a third-party service. The “Add connection” feature only shows transit visa requirements, not full entry visas. Additional service fees apply if you purchase a visa via Sherpa.
Accommodation
Hostel (multi-share) (6 nights), Overnight Ferry (1 night), Hotel (multi-share) (1 night)
We carefully select accommodations that match the EurotourClub 18–35 travel style — social, well-located, and practical. Our first choice is always to stay close to the main highlights of each destination, although in some cases you may need to use public transport to reach the city center.
Accommodation standards in Europe may differ from what you’re used to. Rooms can be compact, and not all properties offer private en-suite bathrooms or air-conditioning.
Occasional alternative accommodation
The listed accommodation types are a guideline. In rare cases, we may need to arrange alternative stays due to availability, but these will always be of a similar standard.
Rooming allocation
Accommodation on this trip is based on a twin/multi-share setup. Solo travelers are paired with others of the same gender, according to passport details.
Check-in time
While we always request early room preparation, it’s not always possible to check in immediately upon arrival. In such cases, you’ll be able to store your luggage and start exploring.
Pre/post trip accommodation
If you’ve booked extra nights before or after the trip, you may need to change rooms for those additional stays.

InstructionsTaxis are available at the airport, and the journey to the hostel typically takes around 20 minutes.
Due to updated regulations at Copenhagen Airport limiting taxi access to the city center, private arrival transfers are no longer offered. However, taxis are still available, and Copenhagen’s public transport system — including metro, trains, and buses — is a reliable and efficient alternative. Please refer to local transport options to reach the hostel easily.

Important notes

A single supplement is available if you prefer not to share a room. However, it does not apply to Days 1, 2, 5, and 6, when you’ll be staying in shared hostel accommodation. Availability is limited, so please check with your booking agent.
You must provide your full name exactly as it appears on your passport (including any middle names) at the time of booking, as this is required for ferry tickets. Additional fees may apply for changes made within 45 days of departure, and in some cases, a new ticket may need to be issued at your expense.
Due to recent regulations at Copenhagen Airport restricting taxi services to the city center, private transfers are no longer available. Taxis are still accessible, and we recommend using public transport options such as metro, trains, or buses. Please refer to the Joining Point instructions for full details on how to reach your accommodation.
